When looking at generators to
purchase, there are many factors that need to be
determined, including whether the unit needs to be
sound attenuated, on a trailer, what size transfer
switch it requires, whether it needs an additional
fuel tank, where will the generator be placed, and the
amount of usage expected from the
generator.
What type of fuel is best? There are many advantages and disadvantages to different types of fuel. Nearly all generators use petrol, diesel, or LPG. The following notes should answer any questions or concerns regarding different fuel sources.
